The Défi 3D program was launched in 2009 by the Chamber of Commerce of Seine Saint Denis. It aimed at helping small businesses committed in sustainable development. Since its beginning, Guard Industrie has been committed to developing high qaulity and environmental-friendly products and therefore decided to participate in this program.
Défi 3D has been very positive since it has enabled us to put in place the analysis of our products' life cycle in order to study and reduce their environmental impacts. With these analysis, environmental and health declarations will be done. These declarations will provide objective, qualitative, quantitative and pertinent information to help builders taking into account environmental and health characteristics in their projects. Thank you for this adventure. This is only a start !

Guard Industry Asia Pacific participated in the 11st edition of the Xiamen Stone Fair, which took place from 6th to 9th March in Xiamen (China). Xiamen Stone Fair is an international exhibition dedicated to the stone market. Xiamen Stone Fair showcases the latest product introductions, innovations, technological advances, design solutions and service to the attendees from stone industry all over the world. This 1st participation was a great success for Guard Industry Asia Pacific's, which highlighted our range of products designed to protect, decorate and maintain stones. Tee exhibition also enabled our subsidiary company to consolidate its distribution network.

Guard Industrie and its English subsidiary company Guard Industry UK took part to Ecobuild 2011, which took place from 1st to 3rd March in London. Ecobuild is the biggest event in the world for sustainable design, construction and the built environment. This year, Ecobuild 2011 exceeded all expectations bringing together over 1,300 suppliers,offering an incredibly diverse range of products, and providing visitors with an unrivalled array of information, contacts and experiences. During this exhibition, Guard Industry UK emphasized its ecological range of products and its comittment in sustainable development.

Eurobois took place from 11st to 18th February in Eurexpo exhibition centre in Lyon (France). This fair brought together 400 exhibitors from the wood industry (from forestry development to the second transformation).This was the occasion for Guard Industrie and its partner Intace to higlight the wood ranges of products WoodGuard and WoodGuard Color, revolutionary solutions for care and decoration of wood.

Guard Industrie's ditributor Cupola participated in the 50th edition of the Home Fair exhibition in Ljubljana from 8 to 13 March. Home Fair is an international fair of construction, interior design products, products for managing a home and its surroundings, heating and air-conditioning equipment, construction materials and products, and products used for technical protection, to modernise or simply refresh any home. The 50th Fair presented altogether 730 companies from 28 countries on a surface of over 24,000 square metres.

The now disused Bobigny's train station has become famous for its role in the deportation of Jews to Auschwitz between 1943 and 1944. On 27th January, the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the company "Le Public Système" organized a commemoration in the station. For this occasion, the company Stecrénov asked Guard Industrie to supply products to remove graffiti and then take part in the station’s renovation.
