Guard Industrie has just developed ImperGuard® RF with Evonik-Degussa. This product is designed to provide in-depth protection of concretes and all materials of mineral origin against water, humidity and chlorides. ImperGuard® RF is also very effective on microcracks up to 3 mm and stops alkali-silica or alkali-aggregate reactions in concrete and construction materials.

Besides the water-repellent and anti corrosion properties of ImperGuard® CP, some constructions need specific protection against greasy stains and pollution. Guard Industrie has therefore developed ProtectGuard® CP designed to prevent penetration of water, chlorides and greasy stains and reduce concrete reinforcement corrosion. Like ImperGuard® CP, ProtectGuard® CP is formulated with 100% of active substance and has great penetration properties.

Reinforcements in contact with humidity and chlorides (de-icing salts, etc.) oxidise, leading to an increase in volume which splits the concrete and weakens the mechanical strength of the elements concerned. In order to solve this problem, Guard Industrie developped with Evonik-Degussa ImperGuard® CP, designed to prevent penetration of water and chlorides and reduce concrete reinforcement corrosion.
Unlike commercially available corrosion inhibitors, ImperGuard® CP penetrates very deeply into concretes (to a depth of several centimetres) and thus efficiently protects concrete.

Guard Industry always endevours to improve its products. For this reason PROTECTGUARD's formula has just been renhanced. Therefore, PROTECTGUARD's appearance has changed, but still remains totally clear and invisible on drying..

Following comments from Approved Applicators', GLISS'GUARD's color has changed. In order to see the product better during application, GLISSGUARD has become blue. This colouring will disappear during the final water rinsing process.
