On September 25th, Guard industrie was awarded the Ecotrophées in the Ecoproduit (ecological product).

The Ecotrophées was organized by the chamber of commerce in association with the Agency of Environment and Control of Energy, the Regional Council and the water Agency of Seine Normandy.

This contest aimed at supporting and promoting regional companies combining economic development and ecological commitment.

In the Eco produits (ecological product) category, the jury awarded Guard Industrie for ProtectGuard. ProtectGuard is an environmentally friendly water-borne product, non-toxic, 95% biodegradable, solvent and silicone-free designed to protect all porous materials against water and oil penetration, all kinds of staining as well as graffiti.

In order to safeguard our Planet and its exhaustible resources, there needs to be a major effort in research and development, as well as persuasion of the public, on the part of the institutions and businesses.

Mr Alain Wayser, CEO of Guard Industrie and Mr Jean Louis Borloo, French of ecology discussed this issue and the means already implemented by Guard Industrie to protect the Environment.

For all human activities, time is coming for sustainable development. What is it? Preserving exhaustible resources, managing renewable resources, conserving or generating energy, reducing releases of greenhouse effect gases, using non-polluting recyclable products, reducing waste and / or reusing them in other materials.

The market should therefore be invested by a new generation of products which, in addition to their usual functions, must differentiate themselves by their ability to respect both the environment and human health.

For that, collaborative research, development and evangelization must be done by institutional and economic actors including defence of nature associations, university laboratories and private companies.

That is the reason why Guard Indsutrie has just created its own non profit association "I take care of my Planet".

Made of eminent scientists and professionals of the Buildings industry, « I take care of my Planet » is a non profit organisation which sole purpose is to enhance the research of any product or processes intended for the Building Industry and aiming at removing pollution and preserving our Planet and Heritage.

More specifically, « I take care of my Planet » promotes the development of VOC free products and supports innovative projects meant to control Earth resources and allow energy savings.

Thus, « I take care of my planet » is associated with the LR Vision laboratory, the university Paul Sabatier in Toulouse and the laboratory of materials & durability of constructions for this essential work of research which will reach the development of green innovative solutions (water based products, biodegradable, anti-polluting, low temperature…)

On the 21st February, Guard Industrie attended the regional award ceremony for the contest "Prix de l'Ambition" and won the jury's special award in the international category.

On the 10th April, the national award ceremony took place in Paris and Guard Industrie won the award "Prix de l'Ambition" in the international category.

GIAP organized seminars in Vietnam last week. the 1st seminar took place on the 13rd of March in Hanoi and the second on the 14th in Ho Chi Minh.

Those seminars were intended for architects and professionals specialized in construction, in charge of significant public projects in Vietnam and aimed at presenting new technologies and our innovative products.

The award ceremony of the « Prix de l’Ambition » contest took place on the 21st February. This second edition, organized by the Palatine bank and the economic newspaper La Tribune and in partnership with the channel BFM TV was aimed to promote successful companies in three categories: growth, international development and trade-in. In the “international development” category, Guard Industrie won a special award for its successful export, growth and commitment in sustainable development.

Large success for the MADE Expo Fair: 170,779 visitors, including 154,754 Italians and 16,025 from overseas visited this design and architecture fair which took place from 5 to 9 February at the new Milanese fair area in Rho, near Milan.

1900 exhibitors from the building construction industry got together at this fair to present a complete face of the industry, from project to construction and from services to technological solutions including materials and coatings.

This proved a great success for Guard Industrie which participated with its Italian joint-venture partner Guard Industrie Italia in order to present products and recent developments and to meet major decision makers.
