A charity, namely A Clean City for the National Games, cosponsored
by Guard Bao Te Jia (Guard industrie’s
distributor in China) and the local government of
Shandong Province, was conducted from 1st to 5th of June
to welcome the National Games of China which will be
held in October.

On this occasion, Guard Bao Te Jia proved the efficiency of
guard Industrie’s products by removing more than 140
graffiti and 90 posters in 8 streets and 2 residential
buildings participated in the launch ceremony.
More than 500 people and 8 leaders from the provincial
and municipal governments attended the Launch
Ceremony. This ceremony was covered by all the leading
media bodies including 6 newspapers, 3 televisions and 2
internets and was followed by a detailed presentation of
Guard Industrie’s products to more than 150 visitors who
were either interested in becoming our end‐users
or distributors.

In April, Guard Industrie opened a new subsidiary company: Guard Industry Vostok based in St
Petersburg. This subsidiary company has the exclusive distribution of Guard industrie’s products for
Russia, Bielorussia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

On 14th July, the Municipal Government of Beijing
hosted a special event: Seminar on the Promotion and
Application of Guard Industrie’s products.
Representatives from 8 government departments
including Beijing Infrastructure Administration, Beijing
Construction Commission, Beijing Highway &
Transportation Administration, Administration Offices of
Tian An Men Square, Beijing Railway Station, Beijing West
Railway Station attended this meeting. The first buildings
recommended by the Seminar to be protected are Tian
An Men Square, Beijing Railway Station, the Opera House
of Beijing and some Olympic facilities.

now partners. This Israeli company is involved in
manufacturing, marketing, importing and distribution of
paints and chemicals and will distribute Guard Industrie
products in Israel.

This summer, the 1% For Planet Club benefits
from a poster campaign in 400 stations of the
Parisian underground. Created in 2001, this
club is aimed at encouraging companies to
donate 1% of their annual sales to
environmental associations. Guard Industrie
became member of this association in 2007
and since then has been supporting and
promoting environmental actions.

Guard Industrie has signed contracts with the companies
Holcim France and Unibéton (Western region). All their
production sites now use GuardTechRemover® to remove
build‐ups of hardened concrete and cement from
construction tools, equipment and vehicles in an ecological,

From June, Guard Industrie has become member of the RQE (Environmental Quality
Research) association. The RQE association aims at federating building professionals
(master builders, contracting authorities, architects, professional federations,
manufacturers…) and asks them to commit theirselves to a respect of the environment.

In April, DicoTech Trading and Contracting and
Guard Industrie signed a distribution agreement for
The State of Qatar and The United Arab Emirates.
DicoTech is a company in Qatar that is involved in
sub‐contracting in the construction industry,
supplying products and solutions related to
concrete repair and rehabilitation, protective
coatings, decorative coatings...

From 27th to 30th April, Guard Industrie and
DicoTech participated in the 6th edition of “Project
Qatar”, international trade exhibition for
construction technology, building materials,
equipment and environmental technology in Qatar.
It was the occasion to launch and promote the
range of Guard Industrie products in Qatar and the
surrounding regions of the Arabian Peninsula.
This exhibition was held at the exhibition Centre in
Doha, Qatar and gathered architects, builders,
building merchants, building and housing institutes
and associations, civil and consulting engineers…

On 12nd and 13th May, Guard Industrie and LRVision laboratory inaugurated their new premises in Castanet‐Tolosan, near Toulouse. Some partners took part in this event and visited the factory and the laboratory, took stock of the new products, assisted demonstrations of products and discussed Guard Industrie’s strategy. Other visits will be planned soon.

Guard Industrie Italia has just signed a contract with Leroy Merlin in Roma in order to have Guard Industrie’s products listed. From now on, you will find ProtectGuard,ProtectGuard FT, ProtectGuard Wet Look, ProtectGuard Stucco, TexGuard, Gliss’Guard, Antimousses’Guard, GraffiGuard 2040, BioDécap’façades and BioNetGuard on Leroy Merlin’s shelves in Roma and will be able to benefit from the demonstrator’s technical advice.

Guard Industrie has just taken part in the Défi 3D program created by the Seine‐Saint‐ Denis chamber of commerce in partnership with the ADEME (Environment and Control of Energy Agency, the DRIRE (Regional Direction of Industry, Research and Environment), the Seine‐Saint‐Denis council, the Ile de France Region, Paris airports, French railways company, Orange and La Poste. In March 2009, the association “I Take Care of My Planet”, of which Guard
Industrie is a member, joined the « PEXE » (Export Plan for Ecological Companies).
PEXE was created in 2001 by the ADEME (Environment and Control of Energy Agency) and the ADEME International Club. This association aims to putting French ecological companies in touch with both the public sector (ministries, organisms…) and the private sector (companies, unions…) to support their international development.
